TESTIMONIALS
"Our son hadn’t been a part of a family vacation in 3 years.
This is because the last time he was included, he drank too much of whatever he could find and vomited all over the beautiful kitchen of our rented seaside cottage. Moreover, as that week progressed, he became manic and belligerent, an effect of the drugs that he was secretly abusing.
In time, it became clear that our son’s mental health situation was complicated. After quite a few stints in rehab and other hospitalizations we came to understand that substance use disorder wasn’t his primary health issue, yet his first step toward understanding his challenges was for him to stop using alcohol and drugs.
Danielle Bolland taught us that sobriety is not a linear process. After that vacation it was a painful, sad two years for our family. During that time our son was kicked out of college, spent 4 days in jail, was involved in a court case for aggravated assault, was homeless multiple times, and suffered 4 life threatening overdoses.
Eric started working with Danielle Bolland and Kyle Moon a year ago; it was September of 2016. This was the turning point of his recovery. A social guy, he was 21 years old and and had no peer network. Danielle and Kyle helped him feel connected to a world where sobriety is valued. Kyle was our son’s life coach and so much more. His first sober friend, Kyle is a young active guy, like himself, that had seen the bottom, and had pushed his way back. Danielle stepped in, also, and worked with our son. She engaged with him to design a personalized wellness plan. Danielle has also challenged our family to look at our own relationships with alcohol and substance, as often this is a barrier to rebuilding families.
Last week, our beautiful son once again joined us on vacation. One night, at one of those perfect seaside restaurants, a waiter approached our table and said to him,
“Hey big guy. What can I get you to drink? I’ll bet you’d like a margarita
or a draft beer? It’s a great night for one!”
Our son looked the waiter in the eye and said,
“Nah, I don’t drink, and I am better for it.”
That evening we told Eric that we had never been more proud of him, to which he replied, “Yeah- and my sober coaches would be pretty proud of me, too!”
That next day he attended his favorite AA meeting. Our son later recounted to us how “finally…after a year of attending meetings, I finally had the guts to tell a story!” Yes, it was with pride that he shared the story of the first time he told a waiter that he chose not to drink and how funny it all seemed, but how good it all felt.
Our son is living one day at a time, and our family has taken important step toward healing. We can’t thank Danielle and her team enough."

“I've been working with Danielle for three years now and I would be lost without her. She has changed my life in immense ways. Danielle has made my sobriety a priority and she has been a support to me whenever I've needed her. She has helped me see the light on the darkest of days and I am forever grateful to her.”

"It's hard to know what to say as you have done so much for Kevin and our family. I feel like I'm riding in car that is sometimes in control and often out of control. You have given us hope and guidance and for that we are very thankful. Certainly the fact that you have lived with the disease on a personal level gives you insights that others might not have. It was clear from the beginning that you feel very deeply about helping others and that this is your "mission". In addition the fact that you quickly come up with a plan and get right down to business is very helpful. We thank you for all you do and will be thinking of you."

"I met Danielle through mutual friends. They knew I had a problem with Alcoholism. After 25 years of drinking heavily and seeing rapid increase in obvious signs of the disease of Alcoholism I was getting scared and people around me were as well. I didn’t know how to get to a 12-step meeting or even where to begin. That is where a recovery coach made sense to me. Here I was fumbling for ideas about something I couldn’t control and the only way around it was to find someone who did. Danielle has a very approachable and comforting demeanor. This made it easier for me to be open and honest about my problem. With Danielle’s guidance, driving me to 12-step programs as a companion and someone who knows a tremendous about options for recovery; I have been able to stay sober for over a year. Danielle tells exactly what you need to hear and when you need it, gently and without judgments. She has a wealth of information, support contacts and leverages her own experience in addiction to make sure that people like me can live a better life. I highly recommend Real You Revolution’s services without any hesitation for anyone."
~Jen, High Tech Executive (45) "Finding Real You Revolution has completely turned my life around. Working with my provided coaches has put my life into perspective, so much so, that I actually found my purpose in life and for once realized I had self-worth. My coaches were my angels in disguise and I am truly blessed to have finally found them."

"While in the midst of a personal perfect storm, needing a beacon to rely on, I contacted Danielle. My 5 year relationship with my presumed future wife had just come to an abrupt end due to my 20 year relationship with alcohol. It was finally time for change with coaching & counsel in my life and Danielle filled that role so well. She became my co-pilot and professional friend guiding me into AA, the 12-steps, and other professional therapy as we planned together. She helped me see my situation for exactly what it was and not the alternative reality, aka fantasy land, my addicted self believe to be true. Danielle held me accountable to work thru and stop avoiding the challenges life throws at us. She is as professional as they come and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends."

"Danielle is a recovery breath of fresh air. She incorporates new and fresh ideas with her personal experience which breaks up the monotony of the average IOP. Her positive attitude and unlimited energy motivates and inspires a feeling of "Yes I Can!"

"I wanted to say thank you for helping me on my recovery journey. You got me from "I don't know what to do but what I have been doing isn't working and I have to do something different!" to..."I am working a program of recovery." In a large part, you are responsible for helping me open the door to "willingness" (including willingness to go to AA meetings and I was not too open to that at first!)
When I first heard you speak on "The Bubble Hour," you sounded "real" and "down to earth". You had experience coaching high-functioning alcoholics and seemed to appreciate the need to really tailor your coaching to the situation of each individual. When I called on the phone requesting more information, there was a "timid dear" inside, ready to be frightened away at the first forward move you made. But you were gentle, informative, supportive and rational. You made it easy to say "yes" to coaching.
Your approach worked for me because you listened...you took time to understand me and my particular situation and challenges...you assigned "homework"...you provided readings and resources and with gentle encouragement, you guided me toward AA meetings so that I could find a local sober network and community of friends. You really "got it" when I shared that my addictive approach to work and my addictive approach to alcohol were two sides of the same coin that reinforced each other. My recovery would need to encompass both.
Thanks to you, I now have a "home group" and attend meetings at least once per week and I am doing step work with a sponsor and small group of women. This community of women is one of the most mentally healthy groups of people I have every encountered and I consider myself blessed to have found them. I never would have, without your encouragement.
So...bottom line is...every single penny I spent on coaching on "RealYou Revolution" was worth it and I will recommend your services to others, if I am asked."

"One day at a time! 365 DAYS OF THEM...
Please know this letter is written with much gratitude, love and appreciation for who you are and what you do. A letter that has been over do-but so ever special today.
A year ago we were in great despair in a search for help for our daughter. It was one click of a life time on the computer that directed us to you and your website that changed our family forever. Not knowing what we were doing and what type of journey we were all about to enter. Once we met you we never looked back and did what was needed to move forward.
What you showed in our cry for help was Immediate action, Intuition, Kindness, Compassion, Respect and Grace at its very best. Words given with your calm voice with Command of a room and conviction of what was needed to take place. Because of you our Daughter chose to listen, believe in your advice and her ability to seek help right away. Truthfulness in every way, as it wouldn't be easy and we all had a role to play. Each of us individually doing work that needed to take place along the way. We ask God only to help us and give us Wisdom to understand .
365 days ago our Daughter's journey started. One day at a time through the trials and tribulations. Comprehending what life is to be with out alcohol at her side. The one best friend she thought is the one that took so much of her inside and out. Alcohol is no ones best friend. Friends should not rob you of family, laughter ,happiness and living life at its fullest. We have watched her with Tears of pain, eyes of sadness and a heart that has been broken. We have seen her Embracing the challenge of working with individuals taking every day and every step to learn, opening her eyes to the possibilities and the healing that needs to take place. With dignity and grace by her side she is facing the good, the bad and the ugly. We wish her a life that has no room for judgment and shame. We wish for her that the feeling of "Fear" will lessen as time passes in every aspect of her travels. We pray for her each and everyday that her strength will be more than any evil that will come upon her. She may not notice at this time how far she has come but we do. As of 365 days ago we were picking her off the floor and on a plane to a place she never imagined to start a journey only she can fulfill.
Our daughter is beautiful, empathetic to others, caring, funny, giving, a smile that brightens up any room and a heart made of Gold. She has a life ahead with definition and purpose of her choosing.
As in the beginning we know you are still there for her in her travels. A blessing that has been given to our entire family.
One step at a time-One day at a time- 365 days of beautiful blessings and we will take it !!!
Gratefully yours from our home to yours..."

"Both my daughter and I have been working with Danielle for several months. Danielle is a skillful listener and with her direct experience and her gift for clarity she is able to understand a weakness or problem in how one is approaching their life and then teach or enlighten oneself to make a positive change. Danielle is sensitive and careful and with her experience and knowledge, she has lead me to a new level of confidence, peace and happiness. Danielle is dedicated and gifted in her work to help others. Without reservation, I recommend her as both an addictions and a life coach."
